PGA Tour professional and 2019 U.S. Open Winner, Gary Woodland will be sporting the PUMA Volition American Collection on the course this weekend at the 2020 US Open. It was just announced that the reigning champion has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with PUMA Golf, keeping him as the brand ambassador since signing with PUMA Golf in January 2019.

“Since we signed with Gary almost two years ago, he has been a wonderful addition to our PUMA Tour Team, and the perfect ambassador to lead our Volition America Collection on course. We’ve seen a spike in awareness and interest in our Volition America product with Gary wearing it on Tour, and we’re pleased to continue our relationship going forward,” said Dan Ladd, Executive Vice President & GM, COBRA PUMA GOLF. “Gary’s play on the course is matched only by his character. He’s a tremendous PUMA ambassador both professionally and personally, and we’re excited to continue working with him and seeing him play great in patriotic style.”

Woodland has been a professional since 2007 and is known as one of the longest drivers in golf. Apart from that, Woodland has captured three PGA Tour wins, first one at the Transitions Championship in 2011, the Reno-Tahoe Open in 2013, the Waste Management Open in 2018, and also won his first Major at the 2019 U.S. Open.

“It’s an honour to continue my relationship with PUMA, supporting Folds of Honor through the Volition America Collection,” said Woodland. “I look forward to many more years together, rocking the PUMA style on and off the course.”

It is indeed exciting news for both Gary Woodland and PUMA Golf. Catch Gary Woodland in action on the course at the 120th U.S. Open Championship at Winged Foot Golf Club happening now until 20 September 2020.
