‘The Scientist’ Bryson Dechambeau Wins U.S. Open 2020

The champion of the U.S. Open 2020, Bryson DeChambeau shot a 67 in the final round of the championship, the only under-par round on Sunday to win. Tens of thousands of golfers watched DeChambeau dominate the field as he easily surpassed Matthew Wolff, the third-round leader who finished second.

“Today we’re honoured to celebrate Bryson capturing his first Major Championship! He is a great ambassador for COBRA PUMA GOLF, willing to do things differently and always forging his own path as a unique, talented player, and now a Major winner,” said Dan Ladd, GM & EVP, COBRA PUMA GOLF. “Excitingly, the 2020 U.S. Open also marks the first-ever major to be won by a player using ONE length irons, providing incredible validation of the concept. We congratulate Bryson on his first major win and look forward to many more championships to come.”

Bryson used the Limited-Edition Pars & Stripes COBRA x Vessel Tour Staff bag (available here). The bag has all of the outstanding functionality and intuitive design features to help make it one of the best in the game.

In DeChambeau’s bag was the SPEEDZONE Driver which features golf’s first CNC Milled Infinity Face & the King Forged MB ONE Length Irons.

The Scientist winning look was a CLOUDSPUN Caddie Stripe PUMA polo, his signature driver cap and new PWRADAPT CAGED Wing shoes, featuring the patriotic colour scheme of red, white and blue.
